Effective date: May 4, 2026. This policy explains how GetVault handles account connection, vault imports and public collection profiles.
What GetVault collects
GetVault collects the account information needed to operate vault profiles: your GetVault owner account email, public display name, connected Epic account identifier, imported Fortnite locker metadata, vault scores, profile settings, likes, comments and basic security logs. We do not ask for, collect or store your Epic Games password.
How account connection works
Epic sign-in happens through Epic Games authorization screens. When a user confirms access, GetVault receives tokens that allow the service to refresh locker data. Tokens are stored encrypted on the server and are used only for vault import, refresh and disconnect actions.
Public vault data
A vault profile may be public when the owner enables sharing. Public pages can show username, estimated worth, Flex Score, cosmetics, rarity breakdowns, collection statistics and selected profile customization. Private owner account data and raw auth tokens are never shown publicly.
How data is used
We use account and locker data to generate vault profiles, calculate ratings, power discover and leaderboard features, prevent abuse, debug import failures and improve the product. GetVault does not sell personal data.
Retention and deletion
Vault snapshots may be refreshed periodically or on owner request. Owners can disconnect Epic access and request account or vault deletion by contacting support. After deletion, production backups may retain data for a limited operational period before expiry.
